Gamkarab Horse Safaris

We offer 3 day horse safaris and 10 day horse safaris. Under professional Supervision of the owners Charles and Yvette Dall, who has many years of experience with horse riding styles. eg:Western and English.

1.3 Day Horse Safaris:

•3 Day Horse Safaris on the Ranch @ N$ 3000.00 per person . All meals prepared around an open fire , camping in the bush for 2 nights,gauranteed spectacular views.

2. 10 Day Horse Safaris:

•10 Day Horse Safaris @ N$3500.00 per person per day,minimum of 6 persons.

•In the northwestern Namib Desert . We mostly ride in the empherial dry sandy river beds, where you will see a  variety of desert adapted plains game coming to drink at a permanent flowing springs. They are mountains Zebras   ,Springbok, Steenbok, Duiker, Warthog, Klipspringer, Ostrich, Oryx Giraffe, Baboons, Leopards and Hayenas. Aswell  as the world renown desert Elephants and Black Rhino's.

• We camp in the bush under the open sky, all meals are prepared on an open fire while looking at the sunset and  deserving your cold beer,

•We will be accompanied with a 4x4 backup vehicle's with all equipment, with qualified experienced guides,

•The guides are mostly people with ex militairy experience who knows how to handle eergencies and knows the  area well and can quickly take you to an emergency landing strip. There are qualified paramedics who will take  care of you in case of an emergency. They also have first aid knowledge and are experienced horse riders.

•We ride between 20 and 40 Km per per day depending on the experience of the riders, therefore we can only take  experienced and fit horse riders.

•If riders are tired and need to take a break , we can do a sight seeing trip with the 4x4 vehicles, while the horses  with the staff stays at the camp.
